- Born in Lima, Peru and based in Los Angeles,CA --Kike Mayor is one of the brightest names out of the South American underground music scene, DJ by nature, played a pivotal role in Peru's electronic music development for over a decade.Born in Lima, Perú and based in Los Angeles California, Kike Mayor is one of the brightest names out of the South American underground music scene playing a pivotal role in peru´s electronic music development for over a decade. With more tan 20 years as a dj, he is known for his pretty accurate track selection and the way his sets develop making them a journey for the listener. His first Album "Marigot LP" (2x12") was released on 2021 alongside musical partner Pheek, an outstanding blend of forward-thinking minimal, house and techno that captivated the likes of Maher Daniel, who was on stage watching them playing their album live at SXM festival 2020 and signed it for his label -The Other Side- on the spot. 2022 marks the release of the Album Remixes Edition (2x12") which will have reworks from Ricardo Villalobos, Audio Werner, Cabanne, Mihigh, Lowris, Flabbergast and Maher Daniel himself. Club de Visionaere (Berlin) , Mumur Festival(Romania) , SXM Festival (St Marteen),Pura Vida(Milán) , Egg (London), Selva de Mar (Barcelona), Stereo (Montreal), The Panther Room (Brooklyn) , Marble Bar (Detroit) , Casa Morelos (México), Creamfields Festival (Perú) are some of the best places Kike has taken his sound to. In 2014 his record label -Saint & Dont Music- was born, alongside rising Peruvian artist “He Did “, a digital and vinyl platform where they support the new and upcoming talent as well as the greatest names in the underground scene. Ion Ludwig, Denis Kaznacheev, Giuliano Lomonte, Vinyl Speed Adjust, Alexis Cabrera, Dorian Paic, Felipe Valenzuela, Sepp, Lizz, Melodie & Herck are part of the Saint & Don´t roster 2022.
