  • Electronic duo from Spain with a strong hardware live performance.
Lagoon is the musical collaboration between David Crespo and Tomás Milia, both hailing from Ourense, Spain. It was born in 2016 with the aim of producing electronic music without any particular constraints or reservations. A project that defies categorization and embraces a variety of styles within the electronic music genre. From IDM to house, through techno, electro, or downtempo, their music is characterized by powerful basslines, deep pads, hypnotic arpeggios, and rhythms that oscillate between cerebral mid-tempos and dancefloor-ready 4x4 beats. Since the early 2000s, they have been parallelly connected to the world of electronic music, whether performing as DJs in various venues and community events or gradually delving into music production. With over 20 years of experience between records and gear, their confluence of knowledge coexists naturally and results in a symbiosis that seems to enhance both of them. Their live performances are characterized by a strong hardware presence and have graced different festivals and venues, including MUSGO SON Estrella Galicia (Ourense), Observatorio Festival (Balboa), Festival Corta Pega (Santiago de Compostela), Fanzine Fest (A Coruña), Esmorga Fest (Sarria), Sala Ballesta (Madrid), Café La Palma (Madrid), Macera Club (Madrid), El Pueblo Café Cultural (Ourense), Radar Estudios (Vigo), Delicatessen (León), and Veto Social Club (Ibiza). In 2017, they co-founded the Several Roots label with other fellow travelers, where they release part of their work and provide a platform for diverse Spanish talent, earning recognition and coverage from major national electronic music media. Currently, they are working on their fourth release, the first full-length album, set to be released in 2024, which will be the cornerstone of their latest live set.
