- Founder of From a Lost PlaceBorn and based in Colombia, the delicate intricacies of Launaea’s creative outputs within the realms of deep sounds are renowned for their breathtaking enchantment, always distinguished for being a constant growth of lush atmospheres blended with percussive and tribal rhythms, taking the nature as a source of inspiration and converging subtly and pleasant textures layered with a variety of soundscapes that evoke states of tension and calm at the same time. His career has been rapidly building in the Colombian scene and 2019 marks his first Live appearance in none other than Freedom Festival, one of Colombia’s biggest stages for electronic music, being invited to play again in 2020 and followed by many gigs in some of the most prolific venues across his territory. Also, in 2022 he makes his first tour to Europe, taking his Live sound to different places like Ääniwalli in Helsinki, Bike Jesus in Prague, Gare Porto in Portugal, Renate and About Blank in Berlin to name a few. After a successful tour, he is back in 2023 playing at the legendary club Tresor in Berlin, Boom Festival in Portugal, Up To Date Festival in Poland, among other clubs and festivals across Europe. As founder of ‘From a Lost Place’ label, Launaea has been doing different publications in his own imprint and also collaborative projects with Laura BCR, Daniel[I], On Board, among others. His label has also made room for an event series inviting artists to Medellin such as Marco Shuttle, Agonis, Korridor, Stefan Vincent and also showcases with Midgar Records and Harmony Rec.
