Liapin & Tjoma Liapin, ??bereits als 4-jähriger spielte sich Richard Liapin mit seiner Trompete in das Förderprogramm junger Talente in Estland, fiel jedoch wegen des taggens einer Leninstatue negativ auf und musste sich von da ab unter dem Pseudonym Nepomuk Hororwitz als Freejazzer in Jahrmarktskabinetten über Wasser halten. Von einer Schlangenfrau dazu trainiert sich zu einer Wodkaflasche zusammenzufalten, gelang es ihm einige Jahre später im Handschuhfach eines Sowjet – Standard – LKW zu entfliehen. Kurz darauf eröffnete er in Süddeutschland ein Haarstudio, um nicht weniger als 16 gesuchten RAF- Mitgliedern die seitdem bekannt gewordene Terrormatte zu bescheren. Über Rudi Dutschkes Vater, einen dicken Hund im Baustoffhandel, wurden Teppichländer und OBI Filialen rund um den Schwarzwald auf das Multitalent Liapin aufmerksam und sponserten seinen ersten Auslandsaufenthalt als Haus DJ eines Ölmagnaten in den Emiraten. Bis dato sollen sich auf dessen milliardenschweren Teppichen an die 18 000 nahöstliche Schönheiten ihre Füße wund getanzt haben. Richard Liapin, heute auf das Erzeugen animistischen House - Ethnos und stammesritueller Nachtgesänge spezialisiert, wurde unlängst im Konglomerat mit dem Karlsruher Newcomertalent Tjoma gesichtet.?? Tjoma, als Kind von nomadisierenden Tartaren einem sibirischen Pelzhändler für 25 Rubel abgekauft übte sich früh in der elektronischen Nachahmung einer wandernden Rentierherde. Die soundgerechte Imitation eines Huftieres machte ihn über die Grenzen kommunistischer Ideologie hinaus bekannt, wofür ihn Gorbatschow mit einem 14 Stunden Job in einem ukrainischen Reaktor auszeichnen ließ. Von dort gelang es Tjoma beinahe unversehrt mit stark angereichertem Musikmaterial in den Schwarzwald zu desertieren. Europäische Hauptstädte wurden auf Tjoma aufmerksam, als sich in der Szene rumsprach, dass nahe am Rhein ein ungewöhnlicher DJ, Codename: Fliegende Hände, Massenekstasen auslöst. Später soll sich Tjoma seine dritte Hand in einer aufwendigen Operation entfernt haben lassen. Nichts desto trotz zählt er heute zu den großen Meistern minimalistischer Klangerzeugung, tourt gemeinsam mit Liapin um die Blöcke um sich die Finger mit ihrem Ostblock House-Sound wund zu spielen…….
