Demand for his unique and exquisite mixing has taken him to clubs throughout Europe, to music conferences from Miami to Sochi, to the St Petersburg and Kazantip festivals, to a residency at the hugely popular and original Silent Noise parties in India, and on tours of South Africa and South America, where he played Creamfields in Buenos Aires and to the fifty-thousand strong Orbit crowd in Peru. Back in London Luke created the KHz night at The End, drawing premier DJs and a loyal crowd. He has been a regular guest on Radio One, Kiss Fm and XFM, and played at DJ Magazine’s Top 100 Awards. Duly signed by Bedrock, Credence, EMI Parlophone in the UK and Nettwerk in the US, Luke’s progressive edge and technical brilliance in the studio saw him remixing for acts as diverse as Timo Maas and Dirty Vegas. Now a fully-fledged recording artist, his own track “Lovely Day”, written in collaboration with Bruce Aisher, stormed dancefloors everywhere and became a UK Top Forty hit and a Number One in the American Billboard Charts. Not content with being the hottest new producers in town, the duo formed a band, Suicide Sports Club, with Luke as vocalist. Their indie dance album “Electric Mistress” was Arena Magazine’s Number One Album of the Year and one of the Top Ten Albums of the Year in DJ Magazine, which devoted its front cover to the band. Suicide Sports Club went on to headline at the V Festival alongside Radiohead and Beck. Luke’s latest success is the single “16 Bit Love”, which was released on the Defected label in May 2012 and featured in all the summer compilations. “16 Bit Love” was co-written with his new production partner, Ollie Bishop, whose diverse projects include Thank You Machine, an album with the critically acclaimed Border Crossing, and a reggae hit on Beatport.
