- BIOGRAPHY DJ/Producer Manu Martin - Performing is the essence of pure techno pouring out of the sound system. Making any club vibrate and move with the industrial energy that only a pure dedicated mind like his, can provide us with.Homeland His homeland, Vigo is an industrial city located in the north-west coastline of Spain. Big ships, trucks and industries have filled his senses and imagination since long. His dedication to techno was, since very young, one of the greatest aspects of his life. A great and solid musical base, and without a doubt, a big dose of talent, gave him the chance to perform since the year 2000 as a resident in the well known Opera, located in Vigo. After the shutdown of this club, Manu became the new resident of Moloko for the next four years. Abroad With so many experience, presence and reviews in the scene, it does not take long till the doors of other big and prestigious clubs in Spain open for him. He then performs in clubs and festivals like Festidance, El Jardín, Octopus, La Real, Delfos, and many more. This is also the time when Manu starts performing outside the boarders of Spain, ln many places in the neighbor country Portugal. Soon after this, he moves to London where he performs in several clubs such as The Mass, The Rocket, and 1001 Cafe. Amsterdam Always in his search for more and more techno, he moves from London to Amsterdam back in 2008. He felt an immediate connection with the open-minded character and industrial setting of the techno scene. The mix of ever-increasing local clubs and world famous electronic music events made him stay, and up until today call Amsterdam his home. Exploring the scene and it’s opportunities, he performed in multiple festivals and clubs around the Netherlands, under which the Pact Festival, Fuck you where in Eindhoven, Club home, Twstd, Area 51, OT301 and others. In the capital, he started as a resident DJ of Hunters, a place to bring his new beats within a relax atmosphere. Direct Drive In the year 2014 this DJ and Producer a started a new and exciting project. Along with three other DJs, he has started Direct Drive. A new and revolutionary concept of partying, starting up in the city of Amsterdam. Assuring loads of fun and pure techno for the lucky ones in the city, expanding to more across the globe. In the middle of his creative years, a dream came true and the Direct Drive Studio became a fact in 2017. This opened doors to make new sounds with old friends and new locally-reared producers. Under Direct Drive, he organized multiple events and parties in clubs around Amsterdam. Always mixing quality line up with a nice vibe at Hunters Grand Cafe. Porto Currently living in Porto place to work and get ready for new projects and music. New Opportunities: Always looking for new opportunities to explore and develop his skills and network, he started working on video projects. Alongside Mamaterrafilms, adding audio on promotional videos and programs for the Municipality of Den Haag. Line up: In all these years, Manu Martin has expanded his sound, while keeping his original sound.
