- Co-Owner - Contrast Wax Resident DJ - Doblar Label manager - Luna RecordsLooking back through history, Middlesbrough hasn’t exactly hit headlines for its extensive musical heritage, but not by any means is that reason to think it none existent. Beneath the small industry towns few feats lay a thriving underground scene and Mark Graham is one of those at the very forefront of that. Emerging in 2008, Mark slammed his feet firmly on the underground ladder & has since climbed through the ranks at a rapid pace. Evolving from a soulful house background, Mark cut his teeth at one of the north's most prestigious events, *RiffRaff, Playing alongside the likes of, Will Saul, Marshall Jefferson, Laura Jones & Dyed Soundorom to name a mere few, He has carved his signature deep, dubby sound, that still sustains strong elements of his soulful roots from an extensive musical taste that spans back much longer than his 29 years of age & has influenced that raw & groove led flow that earned him his residency at one of the UK's freshest underground events, Doblar, a series of one off events which see's Mark play alongside some of the most respected & influential artists from around the globe & moving from club to club, Secret party to darkened backrooms up & down the UK and across Europe. In the studio Marks roots equally shine bold in his productions, taking strong influence from that wide musical taste, Releasing his debut EP on Recycle Records& with work in the pipe line for 2012 his music has rightly so gained support from the likes of Brothers’ Vibe, Huxley, Ekkohaus, Davide Squillace, Chris Lattner & Satoshi Tomiie. But Marks CV doesn't end there though; In 2010 Mark became label Manager at Luna records, Having released music from, Matthias Tanzmann, Santorini, Bearweasel, Justin Drake, Chris Lattner, So Inagawa & DJ W!ld, it has rightly so became one of the most respected underground vinyl label’s on the scene to date.
