- Mark One is a DJ from Kent/London borders who's style and musical influences range from Acid House,Hardcore and UKG through to Deep House/House and Tech.Mark One (aka Mark Ellis) is a DJ from the Kent/London borders who started DJ'ing almost 10 years ago after attending various parties/raves during the late 90's and early 00's and becoming mesmerized by the art of dj'ing. After becoming disillusioned and frustrated with the scene he decided to undertake some new challenges but that burning desire and passion for DJ'ing never went away, so he decided to take it back up again in 2013. Having been away from the scene for so long it was clear that some help and direction would be needed and with the help of social media he was put onto Mantas Jan at "Become A DJ" in London. After successfully completing the course; a first gig came along at London club Cargo, playing for Raw Silence whom he is now a resident. At the turn of 2014, a gig at Pacha London followed and with more dates in the offing, the year is starting to take shape. With a sound and style ranging from early influences within UK Garage, Hardcore and Acid House through to House/Deep and Tech, Mark One's sets are always full of energy and passion. With plans to start work on his own productions but to ultimately push the DJ'ing as far as possible, 2014 is shaping up to be one to watch.
