- Martijn // DJ & Producer from Durham in the UKMartijn is a DJ & producer from the North East of England who hit the underground House scene with his first release appearing on Kinky Vinyl in the form of “The Red Light EP” back in 2007 which instantly earned him the respect of DJs both national and international. Since then, Martijn’s penned originals for successful labels such as Kruse & Nürnberg’s Save Room Recordings, Karol XVII & MB Valence's Loco Records, Look Ahead Records & Leeds based Baker Street Recordings; amongst many other remix projects, picking up support from the likes of DJ Sneak, Marc Romboy (Systematic), Brothers Vibe, Boris Werner (Moon Harbour), Soul Minority & Huxley (Cécille). 2011 has already seen at least 25 tracks / remixes from Martijn featuring on Remote, Reisei , Deso & Erase Records, Savoir Faire Musique & Lens Media. Two of the latest remixes featured in Beatport’s Ten must hear Deep House chart and ran for 5 weeks in the top 50 download chart. Forthcoming for the rest of 2011, Look out for Martijn – Londonderry Lowdown Ep released in October on Save Room Recordings his second instalment for Kruse & Nurnberg’s top label.
