Since 2001 Philadelphian Mathew has been djing and performing alongside international players from James Holden to Josh Wink in cities around the world such as Philadelphia, NYC, Miami and Los Angeles in the United States to London, Amsterdam and Madrid in the EU, most recently touching down in Guatamala City in Central America. Since moving to Mexico two years ago he has headlined at a few of it's top festivals (Rockarga Festival @ Teotihuacan, Tunnel Festival @ Guanajuato) and toured almost every important city in the country along the way. From Mexico D.F to Playa Del Carmen and everywhere in between, he has brought his own special brand of electronic music to excited crowds everywhere. On the production front he has released on world renowned labels such as "Silver Planet Recordings" (the label responsible for discovering James Holden as well as featuring music by Timo Maas, Way Out West and Paul Van Dyk etc.) More recently Mathew had his "Jovencitas" single released by German wunderlabel, "Traumschallplatten" (home to Dominik Eulberg, Triple R and countless others) and was compared with "The Field and Gui Boratto .." by Boomkat in the process. His most recent release, the wonderful "Tres Canciones EP", on another German based label, "Apparillo Music", is already being played in the dj sets of world renowned artists such as Laurent Garnier, Efdemin and Mr.C. His recent "Mi Novia Rubia" single on Ripperton's "Perspectiv Records" label is already making a stir in the european techno and house community with featured remixes by "Stickroth and Ercolino" (Meerstief Records) and Laurine Frost (Perspectiv Records) and his remix of Etalon's "Uniquness" on October's "Caravan Records" is currently on the playlists of many of Europes most forward thinking DJ's and has been compared to Luciano of all people. In addition to this, his music has appeared on several mix cds in countries such as Germany, Japan, Greece and Holland, some of the most notable being Nick Warren's "Global Underground: Shanghai" and Eddie Halliwell's "Cream Ibiza". In 2009, Mat's "Petit Monstre Recordings" will release it's debut ep in the form of Mig Dfoes "The Plane EP" featuring a remix from Foundsound Record's boss "Someone Else".
