His blood runs thick with sound system & warehouse culture which has him receiving invites to play music all over the United States. One of Iowa’s cornerstone techno promoters, producers & deejays. For over 20 years Matt has been rocking the system on home turf & on the road. He's at the forefront of a local movement, leading with torch in hand, while putting his own backyard on the map as a techno destination that is not to be slept on. With a knack for getting his hands on amazing underground party spaces, Rissi has swallowed up the attention of Iowa's nocturnal. He's built up a cult like following in his market area while gaining the attention of too many international techno players to count. Deeply rooted in the global underground community, you don't have to look far before you cross paths with someone travelling the world that's been through Iowa to rock his Solar Cathedral DJ booth. As a performer himself, he pairs his experience & explosive mixing capabilities with the technical lingo he speaks behind the controls that have created a wee bit of demand for his DJ sets. In recent years this has pulled him further & further away from the event promotion circuit so that he can focus on his own performance career. He mixes with great intensity & an electrifying stage presence that may be a little bit too floaty for the heads while easily captivating the timid with ease.
