- Selección, discurso y oscuridad en el techno de MadridMadrid-based Raquel Mendiguren, also known as Mendi, has embarked on a lifelong musical journey—from classical to world music and finally to electronic beats. Her passion for exploring new trends in underground sounds led her to become a DJ. Starting her techno career in renowned clubs and events like Cassette, Stardust, and Synth, Mendi has grown to have resi- dencies at Cabra Negra and Elecktra Club. Driven by a deep love for music, Mendi draws inspiration from diverse labels and artists, reflecting in her recent performanc- es at Rebirth, Kommune, Entity, Lanna Club and LAUT. Known for her meticulous music selection, she weaves dark atmos- pheres, strong bases, dissonances, and hypnotic melodies into her sets, showcasing a broad spectrum of techno subgenres.
