- Meschi is a Glasgow born London resident who has been Djing and playing live at parties in the UK and Europe since 2004. Meschi began a life of music at at a very early age when he learned to play jazz and classical piano, along with guitar and bas..Meschi is a Glasgow born London resident who has been Djing and playing live at parties in the UK and Europe since 2004. Meschi began a life of music at at a very early age when he learned to play jazz and classical piano, along with guitar and bass, playing in numerous bands in and around Glasgow. He progressed to dance music through his early teenage years buying his first set of turntables and a few records. This rapidly grew to a collection encompassing all kinds of music from techno to soul, house to afro-beat, soundtracks, disco, acid, ambient and more. With each addition to an ever growing record collection Meschi built the source of his sound and began composing early ambient and house experiments which ultimately led to his first piece of hardware, the mighty Roland TR-707.
