- New Delhi-based producer, DJ and live artist, Monophonik channels the quirks of free-flowing, synth-driven electronic music.Delving into the nuances and imperfections of modular synthesizers, Monophonik aims at conjuring stripped-down, sometimes intense, and temperamental sounds, in an attempt to humanize his music. A rave archaeologist, digging through time, blending his Indian heritage, the wild flavors of the UK and EU, and the sheer audacity of dance culture into his music. Monophonik’s releases often span through breaks, acid, techno, and trance with hints of Goa, Delhi, and beyond and his collaborations with artists from across the globe transcend borders and genres. Monophonik's EP’s and singles have found homes on labels like Rhythm Section, Radiant Love, Mala Junta, Reel Long Overdub, and India-based Qilla Records, BoxoutFM. Recordings, Krunk Kulture, to name a few. Monophonik has established his ground as one of India’s most sought-after live acts and has taken his live modular shows to festival stages like Thailand's Wonderfruit Festival, India’s Magnetic Fields Festival, Boiler Room, and Mixmag Lab.
