- NatCase is an electronic music producer and DJ, born in Athens, Greece.She re-imagines the underground club music hybridized with lo-fi aesthetics, dynamic drums, synthesized neo-tribal & chord based components of sound. Her peculiar trait manifested slowly and gradually, from her early years studying the piano, keyboards, drums and listening obsessively to punk rock and affiliated genres, to later on getting psychoacoustically high on electronic music and becoming fascinated by the dance culture. She relates and draws inspiration from the oppressed, and shares the agony of achieving equality and social balance, which resonates in her artistic expression. Intrigued by these influences, she dedicated herself to DJing, after participating in the opening DJ sets for the two-day concert of the celebrated Greek punk band Chaos Generation (Genia tou Chaous) in April 2009. Since then, she has worked as a resident DJ in well-known venues and club nights, she has co-organized conceptual parties, and is currently producing and presenting NatCase Orbitual, a series of radio shows on Movement Radio (Athens). Her DJ style is insanely dynamic, fast paced and frenetic, a celebration of the rave and underground scene. In 2016 she started producing her own music and she self-released three EPs, “9-5”, “Fe”, followed by “Se|foo|”, work completed after she received training in electronic composition at the Contemporary Music Research Center (Ksyme) between 2017-2018.
