Still at the tender age of 19 people have already started to label him as a young Donny Hathaway but he’s a very level headed young man and takes everything in his stride and music is one big love. Nurtured in the heart of the church, like so many great singers that have come before him. He has been surrounded by music all his life and naturally it became second nature. He started learning piano at age 6 and never looked back. In August 2007, Nathan won the prestigious \'291 Show\' at Hackney Empire, beating many other artists to the prize. He was also a UK Unsigned finalist for 2008. Shortly after this, Nathan met West London producer, Zepherin Saint, and they promptly started working together and the pair hit it off immediately with ‘Circles’ becoming the first fruits of their labour. An underground anthem was born and now 6 months on has received great support across the globe from the most respected soulful and deep house DJ’s in the business. Gorgeous keys with echoes of haunting synth waves, understated bass and intricate percussive beats provide the perfect platform for Nathan\'s delicious soulful voice, with roots in Gospel and toes well and truly dipped in broken beat, hip-hop and R&B. Nathan is currently busy working on his first solo soul album with Zepherin Saint and the next single from the duo, ‘Holding On’ has the same infectious ingredients as Circles and looks set to become another big record with soul fans across the spectrum. Last year Nathan embarked on his first US Tour taking in dates In New York, Chicago, Atlanta and Washington where he won more adoring fans.
