- NAZARUD (also known as Shaheed Naz of Dangerdisko) is a solo moniker of mostly focusing on Organic House and Melodic Techno music production. NAZARUD incorporates exotic instruments in his tracks to set a mystical and melodic journey for listeners.His 1st EP, Larut, was released under MyConnected back in 2020 which was featured in Mixmag Asia for the 1st time and it was one of his masterpiece. Later on, he worked with local producer, Arzuk, to produce a collaboration track called Eonia in his EP Meraki which was released under Electronic Tree records. In 2021, he came up with another EP called Teroka and was released under MyConnected. The EP contained total of 4 tracks and it was a joint EP with the owner of MyConnected, AlsoKen, with 2 singles from each and 2 collaboration tracks. One of the track Riwayat which was NAZARUD's track in the EP was played by a producer/DJ named Arrab at Muheka Music Festival @ Syn Beach Club, Egypt. Later in 2022, Nazarud brings it home to roost in style with some seriously emotive, understated euphoria in the shape of 3 fresh cuts that epitomize his now-signature brand of Melodic Techno. Renung EP comprises 3 individual tracks, that all tell a differing story. From the powerful vocal ballads of 'Lockdown' which features Kuala Lumpur Singer-Songwriter 'Tizzy', to the long, rich, and sustained notes of Jendela, right the way through to the climactic, yet low-key epicness of Renung. This EP explores a range of musical emotions, tones, and levels that will suit multiple environments, however, it will be best served at Sunset, preferably overlooking the coast or mountain range. Don't worry if you don't have access to said ingredients, just listen in and close your eyes and you will be transported. All in all, a beautiful offering loaded with 'feels'.
