  • Nick P Warren is the founder and resident of Wax’d, a bi-monthly London-based party focusing on the deeper shades of house and techno, and has played alongside artists like Lawrence, Efdemin, Patrice Scott, Smallpeople, John Roberts, XDB, Amir Alexande..
Combining an obsessive passion for the early house sounds of Chicago, Detroit and New Jersey with a deep appreciation for stripped-back dubby grooves, Nick P Warren is a name that has been gaining increasing attention on the London club circuit. Inspired by the deep sounds of legendary labels such as Prescription, Track Mode, Nu Groove, Trax and Guidance, Nick's sets take in an inimitable blend of forgotten gems and modern cuts, all with a firm foot in the underground. Nick has run regular club night Wax'd since 2009, which has grown from the humble beginnings of the top floor of an East End boozer to take place in some of London's best underground venues, including The Horse and Groom, Public Life, The Star of Bethnal Green and The Gramaphone. Providing a platform for the deeper shades of all forms of house music, Wax'd soon built a dedicated crowd of regulars and continues to go from strength to strength, finding a new home at Dalston's Dance Tunnel in 2013. Equally adept at warming up a room with deep, low-slung grooves as delivering a stomping, emotive 5am set, Nick has spun at a diverse range of clubs across the capital, including Dance Tunnel, The Nest, Public Life, Pacha, The Russian, The Gramaphone, The Star, Turnmills and uncountable basements, lofts and warehouses.
