Panpsychism is a similar term, indicating doctrines which claim that all matter is endowed with consciousness, mentality, and soul. Although logically distinct in the statements of their basic concepts, these schools of thought are often intertwined, holding hands and supporting each other’s views. More than 2000 years after their conception, nkx unearths these notions and takes them a step further by relating these theories to the ever-evolving digital technological realities of the early 21st Century. He affirms the validity of these concepts even when applied to technical, artistic, artificial, digital creations which are not physically tangible, as they do not belong to our material world and they are not composed of solid matter. Their existence remains tucked away inside the ethereal digital universe, inaccessible in absence of the tools necessary for their exploration, and when analyzed in depth, these creations are nothing but computer code, gifted with the life and soul donated to them by their creator.
