- Originally a child of the rock n roll area, the native born upper Austrian was infected by the electronic music scene in the mid nineties. In the first years he was mainly influenced by the dub and downbeat scene that has taken over Europe during this..nutrasweet (houztekk collective, Vienna) Originally a child of the rock n roll area, the native born upper Austrian was infected by the electronic music scene in the mid nineties. In the first years he was mainly influenced by the dub and downbeat scene that has taken over Europe during this period. In 1999 nutrasweet moved to Vienna, to spread his vision of music in the Austrian capital. The first self organized parties followed soon, combining soul, funk, hip hop and UK broken beats, long before this sound swapped over to continental Europe. At the same time nutrasweet joined the well-respected houztekk collective, who were responsible for organizing parties with the likes of Christian Vogel, Dave Tarrida, Jahcoozi, Len Faki or Marcel Dettmann. Heavily influenced by the music coming from Detroit and Berlin, his musical style begins to evolve into this direction. Nowadays nutrasweets DJ sets are always danceable and deep. His sound is driving but never brute. The perfect symbiosis for head and feet.
