- OrtzRoka: making machines sound beautiful since 2005 on labels like Verk, Deeper Substance, Sunday Best, Kismet, Wichita and more...Only 2 singles in, and London’s OrtzRoka find themselves occupying that coveted ‘ones to watch’ spot. Building on a huge amount of support from the underground press and blogs such as Fluokids, and DJs/producers as varied as Laurent Garnier, Erol Alkan, Justin Robertson, Ewan Pearson, Prins Thomas, Rob Da Bank and People Are Germs, they’re ready to unleash their next release, the rather excellent ‘Midnight/Black Magic’. The boys’ last original output ‘Bulb Fuel’, brought them yet more sweeping acclaim, adding some of electronica’s most exciting current names to a list of supporters that has grown by the week. Everyone, it seems, wants a piece of the OrtzRoka magic. But don’t let the international hype put you off.
