- Owen Nye (Ni) is an artist from North Alabama. Also releases music under the name PAN!K. One half of Ambient Techno duo, Outward Roots & is also one half of Brothers from Another Dimension. Founder & owner of the netlabel, Run On Recordings.Owen Nye (Ni) is an artist from North Alabama. When he was a child he always loved music and art of all kinds. He began producing while still in middle school, and eventually had his first official release with a label at only 15 years old. With age came a more defined sound and way of working with his craft. He began making music reminiscent of the early days of Techno and House music, along with all it's sub genres. His style is a melting pot of flavors old and new. From the raw drums of Detroit warehouse tracks to the floating chords of Berlin. Owen's constant search for new ways to do the old school is as refreshing as it is nostalgic. A firm believer in DIY & the underground, Owen Ni founded Run On Recordings in 2015 as a way for artists to network with others and flex their artistic freedoms.
