- Pablo Funk is an Electro music producer and dj/remixer, currently based in Miami,Born from ashes of the Industrialized Era in the West NY Section of New Jersey and spawned into the Digital Age via Miami-Dade Florida. His broad array of influences and styles mirror his lifetime journey and experiences time-lining the death of Disco, NYC B-Boy culture, Miami Bass, HipHop, House, and Techno. Alternatively known by the moniker P-Funk, Pablo is a product of Urbanized America. Rediscovered through Music, Art, Fashion, Sex, Drugs, and Technology. His childhood toys consisted of drums, old cassette recorders, transforming robots, spaceships, and a toy turntable. It was not only countless late 70’s Disco songs on NY radio that had played a role in the sounds that would capture his imagination, Synthesized & Futuristic Sound Effects heard in Early Electro throughout the mid-80’s and on Sci-Fi TV Sitcoms, Movie Soundtracks, and even 8-bit Video games would all go on to influence his acidic electronic sound that can best be characterized as a lustful dark blend of Electro-funk meets Techno-Bass.
