- Patricia Masino is rising in the ranks as a DJ and a Producer. Already known is the USA for her flowless skills behind the decks, she is now expanding onto international scene with new releases on New Yorks mega label KULT Records and buzzworthy Hush r..Born – in Olsztyn, Poland - At the early age of 7 years old Patricia started to form the essence of her musical life, training on a classical piano which later as an adult, provided the basis of what was to become a shining music production career. In 1990 Patricia left Poland with her family to pursue educational and professional opportunities in New York City. First experience with Electronic music was in 1993 when she got into House while exploring the NYC Nightclub scene. Walking into the original Sound Factory on 27th Street, she was overwhelmed by she was grabbed by the scene she felt at home. Arena at Palladium with Junior Vasquez, she decided to take on the challenger of going from a classical artist to a DJing. In 1994 she was excepted into St John's University and became an on air jock for the college station WSJU and was give her own show called City Grooves which became one of the most popular shows on the station. Patricia realized this was her calling and decided to explore her music career further. She was subsequently accepted into the prestigious New York University when she majored in Music Technology and graduated in 2002. First 1999 gig was at Cheetah where numerous DJs and Events such as GBH and Bob Sinclair first started. She has gone back to Europe to Morocco, Greece Germany and even Serbia where she learned from Techno infused House Music. With time progression, and slowly refining her own signature sound, Patricia’s DJ’ing stamp endures.
