- Artist, Selector, Music Producer, Audio Engineer, and one of three brains behind Cess - Works at Muted Noise Recordings and Vuew Recordings. Artifact Record Shop Co-Owner & Co-Founder.Rhythmic Classics have been the driving forces for this Southern California import from Cali, Colombia now calling Baja California Mexico his home. Paulo's vision for music is rooted in his passion to integrate cutting edge production technology with his more traditional Latin roots and other musical influences in Jazz, Blues, Soul, Disco, Hip Hop, Rock, and Funk. Paulo’s minimalistic, raw, and forward-thinking approach to House and Techno music have laid the way for releases on Surface Recordings, Honne Music, Dubgestion, Lethal Script Label, MIU Recordings, Cubek Records, Underdub Records, and music collaborations with House music notable Brian "Halo" Varga and gifted music producer Ra.Mod as "Cess", for high regarded vinyl only imprints such as All Inn Records, FA>IE, and NG Trax. Paulo has had the great fortune to hold DJ residencies in two of the most beautiful places on Earth: Tokyo, Japan & San Diego, California. His honest and radiant energy as a performer has also placed him as a collaborator in several underground music projects throughout the Southern Californian region. Most notably, Paulo is a co-founder of Artifact Record Shop based in San Diego, California alongside Halo Varga. He also assists with Halo's newest projects as Label Manager for the vinyl-only record label Muted Noise Recordings, and Vuew; a digital distribution imprint with limited vinyl releases. His latest project, Texture, focuses on music curation and is a collaboration with a selected group of talented music producers working together to showcase current, forward-thinking underground acts highly invested in the evolution of House & Techno today.
