Exberliner ☮ Paulo is a Filmmaker/Artist with a passion for the Avant Garde, Dancing, and the Underground who has enjoyed a luscious arty bohemian life worldwide since a very early age having been based in London, Milan, Lisbon, New York City, Hong Kong, and the list goes on to in his words he found his lover Berlin. All of this gave him the possibility to always be in contact with the coolest underground artsy club scene Djing and performing in Art Galleries, Avant Garde Fashion Shows, Art Events, Private Sleazy Burning Down The House Parties as well as spinning in Cult Clubs and Venues starting in Chinatown NYC while doing his film studies creating the Chinatown Sound System and throwing the first Love Dancers Union Party at the same time he discovered another music geek in a form of a Radioshow back in 2005 based in NYU´s Beats in Space by Tim Sweeney shortly after finishing his Film Conservatory in NYC he moves back to South East Asia being based across Macau and later Hong Kong having toured himself all over China and flavouring some east asian neighbouring countries moves back to Europe ending up spinning a lot in Sunny Balearic Bohemian Lisbon most loved spots like Lux and Lounge while spreading is fired up Dj Sets in Milan´s Plastic Club and getting some dancing contest sets a bit all over Europe from London´s Dalston Space Disco Explorations to Milan´s Art Space Loft 21. Based in Berlin for more then 10 years now holding is precious and always increasing 6 thousand plus record collection focused on Slick Jazz Funk, Progressive Obscure Disco, New Beat, EBM, Italo, HI NRG, Wave, Proto House, Krautrock, Ethnic Rhythms, Analogue Library Soundscapes, Seminal Techno, Tropical Balearica mainly ranging from early 70s till nowadays being put to use regularly in his Cosmic Monthly Concept Residencies in Berlin he is the responsible for loads of parties in Berlin from COSMIC PSYCHEDELIA, DRIFTING ON A BALEARIC WAVE, SWEAT LOVE DANCE to BERLINO DEVIANCE in partnership with ITALO DEVIANCE to his amazing art meets clubbing night LOVE DANCERS UNION to his 2011 baby the UNITED STATES OF DISCO Weekly RadioShow and Monthly Party born out of the Berlin Underground with DISCODROMO. He ran and made successful a super cosy Club in Berlin Bohnengold as a Resident DJ for many years and responsible for booking and establishing great partnerships with most of Berlin's Top Underground DJs creating a scene sponsored by his alter ego "Well Made In Berlin" focusing on Underground Talent raising a true and loyal fan base which followed him around Berlin to listen to his music lectures and always passionate Music With A Meaning Dj Sets as well as producing extensive Illustration and Collage ArtWork that served as PosterArt this old school premiered Skater doesnt leave his underground roots for most of his curated events achieving a outlined spot in the city Underground Cult nights as well as number 1 ranking on Resident Advisor... Optioning to stay a true Underground DJ he always skipped posting mixtapes dj sets or even his hypnotic productions posting material for only very short amount of time making a name out of word of mouth from his dj friends and fans spreading the word he always makes it special consciously following the steps of the ones who till today represent the same inspiration they did years and years ago when the journey started David Mancuso, Nicky Siano (which he had the luck to meet and share the love with), Larry Levan and Ron Hardy other artists he mentions a lot who truly inspired him are Arthur Russell, Alexander Robotnick, Metro Area as well as all of his Berlin DJ friends and producers Daniel Wang, Massimiliano Pagliara and many others like Discodromo, Antoni Maiovvi and the list goes on. A true experienced performer pleasing audiences without selling it easy. After breaking apart from the booking and managing of the Berlin Club he now dedicates his time to his new found baby his Music With A Meaning/Honest Underground Music Studios build in his adopted hood Neukolln where he stuffed himself with a vast array of dream vintage and analog gear to which he dedicates its full time producing music and helping others record their own tracks while still DJing around town and holding to his long lasting Berlin DJ residencies at Clubs like Chalet and Bohnengold while hopping for some exhilarating 6 to 8 hours dj marathons at his favourite spots in town like Salon Zur Wilden Renate, Sameheads, Paloma, Griessmuehle and many other venues inspiring dancers with his hypnotic Dj sets this über passionate and multifaceted talent dreams now of the Ocean, the Sun and the beach to which he intendeds to relocate his never ending array of vintage synthesizers and music collection...
