Thanks to his broad musical taste, deep musical knowledge and boundless energy and enthusiasm; he's one of the lucky few who have managed to turn 'what I love' into 'what I do'. Pete does music full time, full on, all the time. Gooding & Cowan A collaboration with Shelburne Hotel, Miami owner and Pacha resident DJ, Jonathan Cowan, with releases on Steve Lawler's Viva Music and Stereo Productions) Throw in his own original productions and it’s clear to see why he is one of the hardest working men in dance music. Pete lives right at the centre of all things clubby, in Ibiza, where he is one of the key resident DJs at the coolest bar on the island, Cafe Mambo. Other residencies include one of the U.K's leading festivals, Bestival, Denmark's Stella Polaris Festival, and a long running association with Renaissance in the UK. But it is the Balearic attitude of that special island that epitomises his sound. This most versatile of DJs is as at home playing a club set of proper House as he is going all eclectic at a sunset or a late night after party session. Whatever the occasion, you can rely on Pete to deliver the necessary tunes. When Pete's not on one of his regular trips round the world DJing, he spends most of his time on collaborations and solo productions, as well as finding time to start work on his big new project the label and blog Secret Life. So there's a big bag of Balearic treats, some of which are already in his DJ sets, awaiting release. With all that going on it's hard to imagine how Pete has time for human stuff like sleep. Perhaps the dude is less of a music man and more of a music machine.
