Filippo Romano A.K.A. Philip Row, arrived from the shores of Naples on the 2nd of October 1987. Deriving from the early age,  inspired by his parents's records such as Kraftwerk, Joy Division and New Order, he soon developed a great passion for electronic and new wave music. At the age of 15, after hearing the sounds of many techno Neapolitan clubs, he fell in love with this music genre and decided to buy his first decks. It was as if he was born to do this, he soon realised his deepest strength and great ability in mixing and scratching records.  Thereafter one year, he started to play in many different Neapolitan clubs. By the time he was 20, he started to produce music using digital sequencer and external machines. Phillips distinct music combines elements of multi-layered, dynamic, driving techno with uplifting, funkier grooves. Adopting his music influence from artists such as the likes of : Jeff Mills, Chris Liebing, Carl Cox, Oscar Mulero, Surgeon, UR, Adam Beyer, Kraftwerk, New Order. In 2009, he had achieved great success with his first release called:  "Labrynth" and also then gaining great support from other artists such as : "The Advent", "Bas Mooy" and many others. It was then in 2010 that he decided to move to London to study at  the "London School of Sound"  achieving certifications on sound design, sound engineering and music production.  After  this period he started to concentrate fully on achieving his passion and developing a more serious career which resulted in setting releases on labels such as : "Naked Lunch", "Elektrax", "Labrynth", "TK Records" This further opened opportunities in spinning in countries such as Italy, London,  Amsterdam,  Berlin etc. Never giving up and always climbing the mountain, he has the honour of having names such as Chris Liebing, Dave Clarke, Booka Shade, Axel Karakasis, Damon Wild and many others supporting his tracks.   He even had the pleasure to remix and be remixed from artists like: "Justin Berkovi", "Subfractal", "Fatima Hajji", "Dj Hi-Shock", "Ricardo Garduno", "Krenzlin" etc... So tune in for the near future as Philip Row is already preparing his new releases on well respected labels like: "Frakture Audio", "Nachtstrom Schallplatten" , "Bullet Dodge".  Techno the breed of all creation... watch this episode of Philip Row soon.   Revised: Emillieona Tan
