- Producer and pianist in classic formation, forged in electronic music labels.Prompt is a Producer who has managed to combine his classical music training in the conservatories of Madrid with a love of all things electronic to create an entirely unique musical style that has seen him releasing electronic music on a variety of labels since 1996. He has worked as a composer, producer and live musician for some important players in the electronic scene, with his early output supported by such names as Danny Tenaglia and Tiesto. Prompt has continued his musical development with his own label “7 Noise”, bringing a fusion of his electronic and classical roots and his unique personal style. His releases for “7 Noise” have been played and supported by world renowned players such as Slam, Richie Hawtin, Tiefswartz, Matthew Dear, Nic Franciulli, Sharam and many more. His productions have been licensed to some major compilations and have appeared on international labels like Soma Records, Universal, Yoshitoshi Recordings, Get Physical CR2 Records, and the Balance series. Yoshitoshi provided a breakthrough in 2008, releasing two top class tracks: "Jiraphe" and "Salix". A year later, Prompt was back at the top of the Beatport charts with his huge “Evolve” record, released on “7 Noise”. The track went on to be nominated for Best Minimal Song and Prompt for Best Minimal Artist in the 2009 Beatport awards. “Evolve” won Prompt the award for Best Minimal Track of 2009, a landmark achievement and one which sealed his reputation as a star in the making. He also won three nominations in the DJMag awards in 2008 and won the ‘Most Downloaded Artist’ award in Spain in 2008. While still active in producing upcoming releases for “7 Noise”, Prompt is also preparing releases for Souvenir Music, Highgrade Records and a new EP for Yoshitoshi. He is also busy with remixes for Soma Records.
