His ability to skillfully incorporate a wide variety of genres into his music significantly sets him aside from the majority of DJs. With styles ranging from house, tribal, techno and progressive, he demonstrates an extraordinary amount of talent, creativity and ingenuity. From adolescence, he revealed his passion and desire for producing house music. In 2008, merely a year after beginning his music career, Rich Gior made his first release on LOV recordings with former owner "Kobbe" at the young age of 16. Since then, he has had the pleasure of working with some of New York’s most esteemed artists and many labels such as Nervous Records, Dark Vibe Productions, Southside Recordings, PBR Recordings, Peak Hour Music, KULT, and various others. In 2010, his release “Taking a Life” flooded local dance floors. It received support from various appraised DJs including Mark Wippenberg, Dj Chus, Theo, Chriss Vargas and Miss Jennifer. Chriss Vargas also featured this track on his “Black and White” album released on Nervous records. He proceeded on producing remarkable tracks such as “Stranger” and “Fine Day”, charting the top 100 on Beatport and making number one on Nervous Records and Southside Recordings. In 2011, sustaining his successful streak, Rich Gior released 3 hit singles on his very own label, Dark Vibe Productions. Needless to say, he has achieved a great deal for his young age and has attained much praise from thousands of fans. He will undoubtedly never cease taking dance floors by storm!
