Risky Disko is a DJ / Production duo comprised of Greg D & Crouse. Forming in Philadelphia in 2012, the duo has taken the time to understand how underground music has evolved over the years. Navigating their way through a wide range of musical styles, Risky Disko challenges themselves and the dance floor with their loose format, always striving for something new and different no matter how classic or current the music may be. Risky Disko gained popularity with their parties Try It Out and The Wet Boogie. Held bi-monthly at The Dolphin and Ortlieb's Bar, the parties welcomed a handful of talent to Philadelphia including Joe Goddard, Rory Phillips, Juan MacLean, Rafael Cancian, T.Williams, Sleazy McQueen, Joakim, Medlar, Eddie C, and Lovefingers. The duo went on to play such notable parties as Goodie, The Shakedown, and The Magic Message. Breaking from their Philly home-base, Risky Disko has brought their party to notable clubs around the globe such as Good Room in Brooklyn, and The Observatory in Saigon, Vietnam. They’ve played at a number of festivals in the U.S. including Elements and Luna Light, as well as a seven-hour set at Mysteryland. 2018 saw the release of their debut EP, "Disko Afreeka" on the Brazilian label About Disco Records. The two-track release has been supported by Cole Medina, Medlar, and Superbreak.
