- Co-founder of Colombian label Plasmodia and inveterate DJ, Ritornelo achieves sonic hybridizations from musical richness of Latin and English scenes, where polyrhythmic patterns and bass lines are the protagonists that bring up dancefloor heat.His selection and mixing techniques stand out for carefully strike a balance between sections of rhythms and melodies for contemplative listening and moments of club-euphoria. Ritornelo has collaborated with different labels, collectives and platforms in Colombia such as Hot Inside Traxx, Capital Groove, Ahora, Neotrópica, La Curaduría and Perro Perro. His interest in diversifying club sounds on his local scene caught the attention of Verraco, who booked Ritornelo to two dates of his 2022 residency at Video Club. As part of his efforts to highlight emerging styles within the broad sound spectrum of electronic music, Ritornelo co-founded Plasmodia label in the second half of 2023 with participation of artists such as Bimol, Juana Valeria, Aleroj, Anaquia & Youk, Niebla, among others.
