- Rob Spoljaric is a DJ / Promoter / LabelownerInspired by the American B-Boy wave and the G.I. clubscene in Nuremberg, Rob started djing in the mid-80s with Hip-Hop and Funk. Until the mid-nineties, he hold temporarily club residencies in Munich, Augsburg, Hamburg and of course in his hometown of Nuremberg, where he played mainly jazzy hip-hop, AcidJazz & NuSoul. From the mid-'90s, after attending "BODY & SOUL" event in New York, more and more disco, funk, and soul tracks found their way into his sets and a musical change of direction was in sight. In 1999, Rob moved to Hanover to work as a promo & media specialist for Mousse T.'s record label Peppermint Jam. During this time his DJ set was mixed up by soulful house, nudisco, modern uptempo & offbeat club tunes. Back in Nuremberg in 2001, we organize cosy music events for a few months in our own small "Solitaire" POP-UP club. Followed by first own record release by Brickhouse Records (Frankfurt) in the year 2002. the next years only occasional DJ appearances at regional events and local clubs & bars. The in|phusion recordabel was founded in 2005 as a non-profit business model. The idea of modern funk by young talents was born. Through DJing he supported the promotion and financing of the project. The event PHUSED! started with the first release of the Compilation CD in 2007 (Club Tour GER/A/CH). After many vinyl distributors terminated their operations in 2010, we also set off all label activities so far. After a longer break, I started djing again in 2014 and I am looking forward to further activities in 2019. Since july 2019 we are back with a new release on inphusion music, presenting remixes by Opolopo and U-Key from a local german band. More releases discogs.com/label/63153-inphusion
