- RONISA is known for her groovy, mix-genre sound that fuses her background with electronic music. Expect a seamless journey from hard-hitting percussion leads, dark vocal hooks, electro grooves and a healthy dose of psy-fi.DJ/art director RONISA has been immersed in visual arts and music for almost two decades. A mix-genre lover at heart, she merges diasporic sounds true to her upbringing and roots. Experimenting with hard-hitting percussion leads overlayed with dark, soulful vocals, UKG skips and deep electro. This has seen her headline Femme Fest in the UAE, as well as parties at Village Underground, Earth, The Colour Factory and The Jago to name a few. On a mission to advocate for more representation in the electronic. scene, in 2018 she co-founded @mehmooni.london, an evolving musical space for the diaspora; platforming, empowering and elevating a host of SWANA and POC artists.
