His admired playing style of combining elegant rhythms with a mixture of deep,..Jose Cuenca, AKA Ronro is undoubtedly one of the bright new talents to emerge from the Spanish electronic music scene and has been earmarked as a future Barraca Music star. His admired playing style of combining elegant rhythms with a mixture of deep, clean organic sounds twinned with his popular look and personality are the key to his current success. Having been resident for The Hangar Club (Castellon) since the early 2000’s it was here where he learnt his trade and developed the sound that he is now well respected and identified for. Since those early days, he has played in the major cities of Spain like Barcelona, Madrid, Alicante, Tarragona, Seville and Toledo whilst sharing the same booth with DJ’s such as Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, M.A.N.D.Y., Raresh, Mathias Kaden and other high profile names. In 2006 Ronro became the newest member of the Barraca family when he began his residency at the club and has already become a very important part of the Barraca Music agency. Just recently he has started his Friday night residency at Narita Club (Castellon) and such already is his popularity that he is enticing people that would not normally go to House and Techno night’s to attend and hear him play. Now for 2009 is the time for Ronro to reveal his production work, projects he has been working on since 2007 and that will further enhance his ever growing reputation as a true artist. His first works to be pressed is to be his remix of the third Barraca Music release ‘Big Cake’, due for release in May 2009 and with early support coming from Laurent Garnier, Tania Vulcano, Lee Burridge, Timo Mass, Mathias Kaden, Shinedoe, Bill Patrick and others to follow.
