The Italian producer has reduced bpms (as indicated by the name of one of his labels, Pitch Down), discovering a more than agreeable electronic rhythm, which draws from its connections to 90’s ambient house, the Balearic sound and the legendary KLF LP 'Chill Out'. This is perfectly reflected by his most recent and excellent album, “Del Mare”, which evokes the beauty of the place where he grew up: Venice. Zanenghi seems to be experiencing a purple patch creatively, having set up label Discomaths with Asturian Kresy and with the launch of his new platform Pitch Down, together with Diego Monterrubio (Orphidal), with whom he also shares another artistic project, LC12.
