- make you crysch_tsch is a project of Zurich-based Polish multidisciplinary artist and musician Magdalena Szczesna. Using synthesizers and analog machines, she shapes obscure soundscapes on the fringes of post- industrial, body music and noise. She's been active in Swiss underground as a DJ, live act, organizing parties and releasing music as a part of Kashev Tapes collective and currently running her own dark electronics event series SCHOEN. Until now she released her tracks on Crave Tapes, Sons Of Traders, Oramics, Tales Of Psychofonia and Kashev Tapes, ranging from experimental dark electronics to heavy dancefloor-oriented EBM. Her live sets oscillate in between industrial, noise and body music, mixing raw machine sounds, brutal basslines and analog synthesizers with her hypnotic, distorted vocals, combining intensity of a noise show with relentless energy of 80s industrial in one person on stage. SCHOEN is her project aiming to fill the gap in the Zurich underground music scene with dark electronics parties, that put FLINTA musicians into the spotlight. Based on diversity lineups, inspiring live acts, art performances, distinctive graphics and visual communication, it aims to promote the obscure side of electronic music. What started up as a mix series on Megahex Community Radio became quickly an event and podcast series resonating with music lovers in and far outside of Switzerland.
