- Brooklyn-based DJ and producerSean Sato is a rising biracial artist in the local scene of Brooklyn and a devout follower of deeply emotive music catered to the club. After a fateful experience at a gritty underground club in his home town of Shizuoka, Japan at the age of fifteen, Sato began investigating DJ culture and studied a variety of techniques from turning EQ nobs to juggling beats. Having completed a handful of gigs in Tokyo, Sato moved to upstate New York in 2014 where he received a BA in Music Industry and later released an EP via DJ Pierre’s Afro Deep imprint. Now based in Brooklyn, Sato cuts his teeth as a local DJ, producer and key member of a major independent venue. Notably, Sato has served the dance floors of Elsewhere, Mood Ring, Good Room and Jupiter Disco, and has shared the stage with renowned figures such as Bonobo, Kamaal Williams, Starchild and the New Romantic, Paperboy Love Prince, DJ Monchan, Perel, and more.
