- MUSIC HOUSE / PROGRESSIVE ELECTRO MIXED LIVE INSTRUMENTS: VIOLIN / BASS CLARINET / KEYBOARD / PERCUSSIONSecret Maker, aka Gerard Tempia Bondat... A secret formula born of an alchemy mixing strains of electronic music with the filtered quintessence of a background in classical, jazz, and vaudeville. Starting from a very early age, GTB studied violin with great masters such as Ivry Gitlis, Yehudi Menuhin, and Igor Oistrakh. Considered one of the 10 most brilliant violinists of his generation, he appeared as soloist with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Orchestra and also worked with leading quartets of our time such as the Alban Berg & Amadeus Quartets. Later, he met Jacques Higelin and worked for many years as a musician, and as an arranger for both stage and studio (Paradise Pagan). Then in 2002, he collaborated with Christophe in the recording of his legendary comeback onstage at the Olympia, after 25 years absence. He wrote the symphonic arrangements with the orchestra of the Opera Hanoi for Indochine (album / DVD hailed at the Victoires de la Musique and NRJ Awards, DVD made triple platinum). A memorable encounter with Sting for the arrangements and concert of “Don’t Leave Me” {Ne me quitte pas} in homage to Jacques Brel… An exceptional journey which naturally gave rise to Secret Maker, debuting during the most recent tour by Bénabar, who asked him to remix "le Dîner" on each zenith stage and festival they played. He has also just finished over 2 months of performance at the Odeon and the production of Alexandre Gavras’ film adaptation of Chekhov’s "The Cherry Orchard" for which he composed the original music. The moment he joined MySpace, Secret Maker became an immediate international success! To date, he has had almost 2 million plays and has already appeared in fine performances at the Meg in Montreal, The Summer Festival in Quebec City, Toronto, Ottawa, and toured Australia, playing Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane; soon he will be heading for Bangkok...̸2010 : 5 titles "THE WAY OF"
