- SHMIX aka Denis Shubin is a DJ, music producer and promoter based in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. One of the owners of Tekstil Music.Shmix aka Denis Shubin is a hugely versatile DJ from Saint Petersburg, Russia. This guy really knows how to weave together groovy house and dynamic techno. Underground European clubs, beach parties in Thailand, big festivals such as Kazantip – for any occasion, Shmix has the recipe for lots of fun: strong and exclusive (mostly vinyl only) material; original club bombs and unreleased stuff; furious drive and powerful performance with FXs; and last but not least, expressive and charismatic dancing in the booth.. This is Shmix! This is dance music as it really should be. Denis started his DJ career in 2009 as a resident at techno parties in the “Tunnel”, the legendary and first Russian club. His special musical taste and responsive work with the dance floor allow him to have a big portfolio of successful performances. In the last few years, he participated in the Kazantip festival as a DJ and party organizer. Shmix is co-owner of Tekstil Music. Founded in 2010, this agency has organized dozens of parties in Russia with both European and local artists. Now, the team is doing weekly Tekstil Video Podcast parties in Saint Petersburg, where Denis is a resident and ideological mastermind. He is also an artist of the Bermudos record label and resident of Bermudos Session parties in Thailand. As a music producer, Shmix releases tasty club tracks, which are supported by many DJs around the world.
