- Simon Mann is a producer from Sydney specialising in deep electronic sounds spanning the genres of techno and house music.Simon Mann is a producer from Sydney specialising in deep electronic sounds spanning the genres of techno and house music. Simon’s career began as a club dj in Sydney playing events such as Clean and Serene, FourPlay, Sounds on Sunday and Globe Nightclub. Simon has also played alongside Sydney’s finest including Phil Smart, Ben Korbel, Alphatown, Ken Cloud, and the late legend Ajax. Simon’s own events include No Frills, the monthly 3 year running Mumbo Jumbo and Wired for Sound which was a collaboration between three other local production groups. Simon’s focus shifted from djing to live production in the early 2000’s and since Simon has been booked to play live for local underground events such as Midi in the City, Lobe Limbique Musique, TECHnique and Shrug Events’ Echoes nights. Uncoming events for Simon include Clan Analogue’s launch of Aeriae’s scond album Victris in September and a warehouse party for the Locus Cadre collective.. Simon has had mutilple releases, both local and international, on labels such as Lamb Shanks Digital, Lobe Limbique Musique, East Point Sounds, Pinksilver Digital and Hi-Jack Records in Ukraine.
