Since his schooldays he has ventured into the world of electronic music which has taken him from the UK to the USA and back. Graduating with a degree in Product Design Engineering paved the way for the future with DJing and music being a focal point throughout his education. His impressive creative direction of music opened the doors to his future in which he has held down residencies in Miami at Pawn Shop Lounge and B.E.D and latterly back in the UK at Snafu (A club voted in the top 100 Clubs in the World by DJ Magazine 2010 and 2012). The Lost & Found residency at Snafu weaves together fresh underground house with deep dark undertones and future leaning tech from South America, Europe and beyond, there's a raw and emotional vibe which shines through. The rhythms are often complex which push you forward as you are reminded of the long after-party sessions where the music keeps flowing and the legs keep going. Simon has been producing for two years under his alias SiFi with his debut EP release “The Vibe” breaking into the Beatport top 100 and supported by amazing artists such as Claude Von Stroke (DirtyBird), James Zabiela (Rennaissance),Yaya (Desolat) and Paco Osuna (Plus 8) to name a very small few. A rectification phase proceeded which allowed Simon to follow his path and refine the sound that he was looking to create. Influenced by labels such as Loco Dice’s Desolat and Luciano’s Cadenza you can hear the subtle tones of South America and Central, Eastern Europe as they filter through. This process was completed with the two-part EP (Lost and Found) released on Miami based label DreamAwake. Part 1 included the tracks Stakes is High sampling De La Soul and Lucky 13 which was packaged complete with a remix from Medu. Part 2 is due for release in September with a number of original solo projects on the horizon. Simon will also continue DJing at select events, clubs and festivals around the world.
