- Dj & LiveactLive artist and DJ/Producer Solidmind, aka Stephan Kellner, has elevated himself into the top tier of promising downtempo, organic house artists. Still in his mid-twenties and turning heads with his unmistakably compelling releases and DJ sets/live performances, the producer and ‘Elysion’ label boss is forever influenced by the world around him. While travelling as a backpacker in his early twenties, he assimilated a wide variety of underground and cultural influences, helping him hone his skills to create the genre-spanning contemporary sounds he loves. Though a fresh face on the electronic music circuit publicly, he has been producing music since he was 16, his productions going from strength to strength as his sound evolved. ‘Elysion’, est. 2020, is predominantly a vehicle for his own tracks whilst also serving as a platform for showcasing others. The label specialises in deep tribal dance music, incorporating folkloric sounds and ancient rhythms. Working out in the Bahnwärter Thiel artist studios in Munich, Stephan’s favourite gear includes the Prophet Rev2 and Moog Sub 37 synths, and Roland Tr8-s, getting lost in jamming sessions until nightfall / through the night / until dark With upcoming releases scheduled on Pipe & Pochet and more coming on Elysion, this is only the beginning for this exciting talent.
