- Somec is a dope project by Giovanni Napoli, a bunch of Techno tracks created using old analog gear and infernal modular synthesizers, for you happy serotonin weeks.Giovanni Napoli, born in 85, He started making music in 2004, fascinated by vintage synths and experimental sounds. Trough his musical growth, he felt in love more and more with vintage gear and analog drum machines, to the point it became a kind of obsession. In 2007 he got close to the Circuit Bent thing, modifying old Casio samplers and cheap drum machines. That was such a relevant step for his own musical research. In the same period he discovered the track Black Sea by Drexciya, and got caught in Underground Techno music. In 2010 he got an audio Engineering BA at SAE Institute in Milan, where he currently lives and works.
