- South African Electronic Artist, working in the industry for well over 15 years, from hosting a dance Show on Metro Fm to the dancefloors around the globe. SoulSista is now based between South Africa and Tulum, MexicoA true Pioneer in the dance music development of South Africa, coming from the era of vinyl. With her distinctly eclectic taste in music ranging from energetic dance grooves, to an african deep house sound. Her Friday nights were made up of entertaining Metro FM fans and listeners with her regular 9pm -10pm kick start to the Friday Night grooves with SoulSista slot. A consistent desire to grow her music knowledge, alongside her natural instinct and ability to entertain listeners had her further pursuing 5FM listeners to her fan base. It stands to reason then that the inclusion of MTV Base Africa would make up portion of her rapidly growing follow ship. In 2004 SoulSista released her first, highly acclaimed Mixed compilation 'Music is my High' On the Album was her first Single ‘Music is My High’ here SoulSista was the songwriter, composer and producer. SoulSista helped transform the stores of Levi's South Africa into a dance floor with compilation mixes she did for the brand. She played the Official Jamiroquai Afterparty at Delicious festival in South Africa at the Sound Room. Invites from SA's most credible dance floors had her entertaining crowds at after parties during the FIFA World Cup 2010. An invite extended to SoulSista from the popular SA experience known to all as the Oppikoppi Festival, was gladly accepted by her with honor. Having travelled the world she has played sets as far as Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Tulum, India, Singapore,Mozambique, Botswana, Kenya, Swaziland, Mauritius and Mexico. Looking ahead, SoulSista will continue to grow and create within the dance music world with a studio album out later this year. With her energy behind the decks and an infectious style of DJing, it’s hard to stand still when she is in action.
