Over many years, the Ward sound has evolved into a truly unmistakable blend of tough house grooves coupled with the power of techno and the euphoria of Detroit, a perfect package which has been proven to work on dance floors from London to Tokyo, New York to Ibiza. Throughout his colourful career Steve has had the rare chance to write music with a high caliber of A-list artists the likes of:: Carl Cox, Nile Rodgers, Oliver Lieb, Secret Cinema & Alexander Kowalski to name a few not to mention has had the opportunity to perform at some of the most forward thinking dance events around the globe, all whilst hosting one of Australia’s most successful weekly radio shows (now syndicated through every continent around the world). In recent years, Steve had the honor of remaking the classic acid house track "Phuture - We Are Phuture" along side Carl Cox and Dj Pierre not to mention his remix of Chicago legend Paul Johnson's track "She Got Me On" which both hit critical acclaim. Also, his remake of the classic techno tunes "DevilFish – Manalive" and "Andrew Mclaughlin - Love Story", both were released alongside the relaunch of the classic UK techno label "Bush Records" and hit the Beatport top 10. These days Steve's list of high profile remix work continues for household name like "Christian Smith" & "Dosem" plus many more to come. In 2010, Steve launched his own record label Chameleon Recording with the labels debut EP "The Window Between Us and Them". This release turned into an instant classic, championed by some of the biggest names around the world, so much so, it was licensed to the Global Underground Lithuania compilation as the closing tune. From that, Chameleon has gone from strength to strength signing some of the most forward thinking producers around the globe, partnering with several festivals to hold label stages and featuring label showcase events around the globe. From a performance perspective, Steve's live shows are nothing short of electric! Utilizing his complete control over cutting edge technology fused with his passionate background of traditional instruments, live keys and vocals, a performance he has cultivated over the past 15 years. 2015 is looking bigger than ever with a huge amount of music forthcoming from Steve under his Cartesian Spheres and solo projects alongside his several nightclub brands, music academy, column in Dj Mag and his weekly radio show broadcast around the world.
