- Belfast born, London based DJ and producer.. Playing cross genre electronic music mainly in the deep house and techno spectrum.. (New Artist Profile)Sturge, originally from Belfast but now based in London, has been DJing and promoting electronic music parties across Europe and beyond for many years; from Belfast to Burning Man, London to Berlin. An avid collector of all things electronic, he was brought up on a diet of purist Techno in the late 90s and early 00s, but these days the BPM is irrelevant. Sturge is as comfortable playing anything from downbeat to techno, but his eclectic sets usually veer towards emotive and driving melodic Techno - emotion is paramount in all his selections and taking the listener on a journey is always the intention. As much a regular in the underground scene as he is on some of main the stages in London and at Burning Man, he has shared the stage with the likes of Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Mees Salome, Jim Rider, Township Rebellion, John Daly, Moonwalk, YokoO, Be Svendsen, Jan Blomqvist, Chaim, Solvane, Prismode, The Scumfrog, Unders, Britta, Goldcap, Sabo, Rey&Kjavik, The Desert Hearts crew and Aidan Doherty, to name just a few. Inspired by his electronic journey over the last 3 decades, lockdown was spent building a new studio as he honed his craft and sound.
