- Subbroom Association is a project from 'vidab' co-founder Oliver Deutschmann and 'the Baseballs' live drummer and former 'Schulz&Söhne' percussionist Tomas Svensson. They met 3 years ago in Berlin's nightlife and decided to work together on their visio..Subbroom Association is a project from 'vidab' co-founder Oliver Deutschmann and 'the Baseballs' live drummer and former 'Schulz&Söhne' percussionist Tomas Svensson. They met 3 years ago in Berlin's nightlife and decided to work together on their vision of dance music. The duo produces their sound at the AudioZoo Studios in Berlin, where they developed their analog sound signature from old vintage synthesizers, drum machines and live instruments. In their productions you can hear influences and inspirations from Jazz, Soul, Funk, Detroit Techno, Chigaco - and New York House, as well as, the modern Techno/House Sound of today. Their first release was the highly acclaimed remix of Lonya and Roy Okev's 'Fake Life' on the Berlin based label Konsequenz.
