- SVHS is the solo work of Canadian Martin Dumais of Les Jardiniers and various projects namely the ambient AUN and deep techno of StärkerSVHS is the brainchild of Canadian artist Martin Dumais, recognized for his contributions to Les Jardiniers and his involvement in various ambient and techno projects, including the ethereal AUN and the deep techno vibes of Stärker. He's also known for his pioneering work with the 90s label hautec records. SVHS masterfully combines elements of rave culture with ambient textures, creating a hypnotic blend of IDM-infused techno. In 2018, live and DJ performances at iconic venues Tresor and Ohm in Berlin shifted Dumais's focus towards exploring club music, following over a decade of predominantly ambient live performances and releases. Fast forward to 2022, a year filled with significant milestones for SVHS, which saw the release of the ambient house/techno album "Bong Zero" on the renowned Archipel label. SVHS also delivered a series of captivating remixes for the Hybrid Structure label, followed by the release of the minimal techno EP "Blau Montag" on hautec. The year reached its pinnacle with a live debut at the prestigious Mutek festival. In 2023, SVHS made a return to live DJing, released a second album titled "Drift Signals" on Archipel Canada, and performed a live set at alma mater Foufounes Electriques. All the while, producing monthly DJ mixes for La Face B Radio residency.
