- High school friends Jonathan Krohn and Karl Meier formed Talker in 2013, forged over a shared appreciation for post-punk and electronic music. Their first collaborative effort, “Cut The Weight (Pts. I & II)” for the “Halha” compilation on Downwards, led to another 12” and full-length for Karl O’Connor’s esteemed Downwards imprint, as well as a series of remixes for labels such as Eye Teeth and Horizontal Ground.
